As it is now, my life is split into two very distinct parts: studying, and going to the cinema. Just booked my ticket to see Ang Lee's "Life of Pi" tonight. I guess all I can say is that it looks promising. Maybe I should've read the book before hand, but it looks more like an esthetic movie rather than an interesting plot.
Latest cinema experience left me a little confused. We went to see "Les Misérables", a motion picture that includes literally no talking. At all. We sat there for a full 2 hours and 30 minutes of singing. Tom Hooper, who also did The King's Speech, managed to put together kind of a random cast of people (Sacha Baron Cohen singing ... dafuk?) None the less, great performance from Hugh Jackman, and overall well worth the watch.
